Senior Quality Executive The Senior Manager of Quality will lead the quality organization and will be responsible for developing and implementing a “world-class” Quality System. S/he will establish and report on quality metrics and will lead the organization to improved quality levels. This person will build a proactive quality process focused on customer satisfaction and will also educate and train the quality organization in appropriate tools and methods. This is a collaborative position that will work closely with all associated organizations. This position overseas Quality for the division and is a key component of the Operations team. S/he will have the responsibility for leading, managing, and growing this department. The following facets of quality management will be under the direct responsibility of this position: 1. Customer Quality & Reliability 2. Failure Analysis 3. Manufacturing Quality Control 4. Supplier Quality The following areas are supported by our centralized quality function and this position will have indirect responsibility for: • ISO9000 • Documentation Control (IS&T) • Reliability Lab Testing Services • Incoming inspection Position Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Masters degree and/or MBA are a plus. ASQ or related certifications is an asset • 10+years’ experience in a Quality role in a manufacturing environment, thorough knowledge of quality systems, Structured Problem Solving, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, Process Control, TQM, Statistics, etc. • Experience in working closely with customers and suppliers on quality issues. Travel 10%. • Demonstrated managerial and team building capabilities; Prior comprehensive quality management experience • Experience in high tech manufacturing operations such as surface mount printed circuit board assembly or semiconductor manufacturing • Knowledge of electronics is mandatory • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment: this is a newly created division. Ability to change the status quo, a strong sense of urgency, and a penchant for action. Location: near Peabody/Essex MA area Compensation: This position can be at the Senior Manager or Director level. Title and compensation will reflect the selected candidates level of experience, depth of expertise in both quality and electronics.
